I am a Visual and Spiritual Artist. Aren't we all? Our style, approach, our medium of living life - the ultimate canvas. Our eyes capture scenes of life and process them with emotion and thoughts, texture and color. What do we communicate? How do we influence? Do we sign our work like a traditional artist? Where do we leave our signature?

If you feel inspired to help us leave our signature, The Mozo Foundation accepts donations to directly support their mission of helping people transform grief into growth.

This rare underwater view of the sun through the tube of a wave is one of my favorite images. Not only was it a challenge to position and capture but it has now become very symbolic to me.
In this piece “A Higher Source”, I enjoy the way the sunlight is filtered through the wave and framed up by the darker water on the edges of the frame. The humble angle of view is a result of me lying low to the reef and looking up to the wave and Sun. This was a short but beautiful quiet moment before the wave exploded into a turbulent, cloudy storm. Life is like this too as we all have moments where we can see the light but soon enough, we’re facing a storm. It is those great moments of seeing the light that often get us through those rough times. Here’s a moment of light to appreciate and maybe it’ll help you through your storms. The light is our source of life. It gives us hope and blesses us”. – Jon Mozo

Jon asks us, “Where do you leave your signature” and for us at The Mozo Foundation, when we think about Jon’s question, we think about you and everyone who feels broken hearted. We want you to know, it is possible to feel joy again. Although it feels like the pain will never end, it does change. It changes not just because time passes but because you will change over time. I know it’s hard to believe but you can heal, you will heal. Our lived experience is that the storm will pass, and you will feel the sun again. We are here for you. - Nikki Mozo
